I have been in the field of art glass for almost twenty-five years. Originally I began engraving on automobiles to compliment my lettering and pin striping business. Engraving evolved into sandblasting glass for residential and commercial settings. The majority of the work is commissioned, providing art glass for entrances, store fronts, restaurants, casinos, and home interiors such shower enclosures, pantries, cabinetry, etc.
In the mid 90’s I developed a line of sandblasted and painted art glass products, which are sold in galleries and boutiques across the U.S. and Hawaii. They include production pieces as well as one-of-a-kind collectors works.
Currently I have been enjoying “bending the rules” by incorporating new elements such as metals, stone, kiln fired and colored glass.
I have experience in working collaboratively as well as interpreting and following design plans. I enjoy the synergy that can come from a balanced team. Currently I am producing works with my art partner Dan Ferrarese.
I’ve been blessed by the opportunity to participate in Art in Public Places in several venues and believe very strongly in the effort to bring art into the realm of he public at large. If we can touch the next generation and encourage the betterment of mankind through the arts, then our endeavors as artists have long lasting value.
